There are a ton of these brand movies coming out. The gig economy continues to grow. They both kinda suck.
There’s been a glut of movies about brands this year. Guess what? There are more coming. Good things should never cease.
In this Insider.com piece, I discuss the rise of brand centric movies alongside the gig economy and how this ties back to our need for brands, both ones we can buy and ones we have to create for ourselves. The Barbie movie may be fun, but this trend isn’t.
