I did, but the problem is our feelings lie to us all the time. Ultimately, we must seek truth and truth is not inside of us and ever-changing based on how we feel in any given moment. The truth is outside of us and doesn't change.
One thing is for certain: there is no stopping them; the <alphabet>genders will soon be here. And I, for one, welcome our new <alphabet>gender overlords. I'd like to remind them as a trusted internet personality, I can be helpful in rounding up others to toil in their underground brand caves.
“...those who identify in some nonphysical way as nonhuman or not fully human, more specifically beings who do not currently exist on earth…”
“...umbrella term in which one's gender is not connected to the binary or non-binary spectrum, and is instead crafted with other methods of gender categorization. This may include genders that are related to animals, plants, or other things that are not traditionally a 'gender.'”
I got dumber reading that. Essentially, I can identify as a dog and walk around a parking lot peeing on car tires. Except I can't. Because it's illegal and insanity. The progressive left has lost their collective minds. Common sense just isn't common enough anymore unfortunately.
I'm glad you agree it'd be absurd to identify as a dog! Hopefully we reach a future where gender categories are so infinite that gender renders itself useless.
Except they're not. It's how mankind was designed - very intelligently. The left is all about science until the science doesn't line up with their beliefs. Again, it's insanity.
I've not read Gender Blur, but I will today. I love a lot of what The Baffler publishes. It must be so rewarding and liberating to find ways to uncouple yourself from consumption. I do agree marketing stereotypes are almost exclusively for cisgender people, but I think that's going to change and it's going to happen pretty quickly. The thing about the market is that I don't think anyone can ever really escape it. And if you are escaping it, the people who run those companies aren't doing their jobs very well.

Thought provoking, I learned almost too much. I will be ever more rigorous with my perception of brands thx to your article.

you're confusing sex with gender. it's a common mistake, but a distinction worth understanding.
So what is gender based on then... our feelings?
Just look up the difference, you have the world at your fingertips my man
